In Vitro Anthelmintic Properties of Euphorbia Milii and Euphorbia Microphylla Linn Extracts

Methanol extracts from the leaves and stems of Euphorbia microphylla Linn milii were investigated for their activity against Fasciola gigantica, Taenia solium Pheritima pasthuma, respectively. Five concentrations (10–100mg/ml) each extract studied in bioassay, which involved determination time paralysis death worms. All exhibited con-siderable anthelmintic activities, order sensitivity to worms was P. pasthuma > F. gigantica T. solium. The most active E stem methanol extracts.
